The Niglon RCD2-80/30-A is a 80A 30mA Type A double-pole RCD (RCCB) for 1P+N circuits. It provides residual current protection, disconnecting the supply on detecting an earth-fault current to guard against electric shock and fire.
Type A sensing responds to AC and pulsating DC residual currents, with a 10kA breaking capacity. Manufactured to BS EN 61008-1.
