A microporous, liquid-tight and breathable ePTFE membrane is integrated into the breathing VentGLAND® cable gland.
Despite its water permeability, a membrane is able to exchange air and thus avoid the pressure difference between the inside of the housing and the environment. This eliminates the cause of condensation.
The patented product is cable gland and pressure compensation in one.
Optimum sealing and strain relief through special WISKA lamella system with enlarged contact surfaces and large sealing area. Sealing to the housing by additional EPDM O-ring.
